Still Learning to Fall - My skydiving journey.

Updated: Jun 24

Let’s get one thing straight: I am a total newbie when it comes to skydiving. License or not, I’m still at the very start of this whole thing.

This part of my blog is dedicated to documenting exactly what it’s like to learn to skydive—not from the perspective of an expert, but from someone right in the middle of the nerves, the newness, and the unknowns. Every challenge I’ve faced so far is here, and every challenge coming up will be shared too. Think of this as a running record of all the things people don’t usually talk about—the mental hurdles, the self-doubt, the nerves that show up even after you’ve ticked off a license, and the little victories that make it all worth it.

You won’t find step-by-step instructions or skydiving “advice” here, but you will find honesty. Every post is a snapshot of where I am, what I’m feeling, and what it’s really like to start out in a sport that can be as intimidating as it is exhilarating. The videos and photos might look fearless, but the reality is that I’m still figuring it all out—heart racing, hands shaking, and sometimes questioning why on earth I signed up for this!

If you’re curious about the actual experience of learning to skydive, or if you just want to follow along as I tackle my nerves and (hopefully) build some confidence jump by jump, you’re in the right place. This is as real as it gets, from one beginner to anyone who’s ever wanted to try something new and terrifying.

Here’s to all the nerves, new beginnings, and honest moments—one jump at a time.

Okay. So if you’ve been around since the early days (or even just a few months ago), you might’ve noticed things look... very  different...
